2020-21 Rookie of the Year: Zach Biggar

The 2020-21 Rookie of the Year, as voted by Titan fans, is defenceman Zach Biggar!

Selected in the second round of the 2019 Quebec Major Junior Hockey League draft, Biggar spent the 2019-20 season with the Summerside Capitals of the MHL before earning a full time spot with the Titan this season. In 33 games, he had 11 points and was a +8 while playing in the teams top four. The product of Portage, PEI added three assists in nine playoff games.

Biggar is also eligible for the 2021 NHL Entry Draft and was given a ‘C’ rating in NHL Central Scouting’s Players to Watch list back in February, which indicates a 4th/5th/6th round candidate.
